Here's another one of my favourite paintings I've made, made into a t-shirt! This was a mixed media piece painted primarily using acrylic paints on a mixed-media paper, but also some Posca (paint) pens, some water-soluble pastels, some point pastel and a little coloured pencil.

I started by using just 4 different shades of green paint and tried to mix as many different shades of green as possible. I then used really thin layers of paint, built up over each other to create the background - I stuck to squares and rectangles because I was trying to create something which felt both uniform and chaotic at the same time. My head was a little loud and I was trying to create some sort of order from it, so this painting was an incredibly relaxing one to paint because it helped calm me down and now, every time I look at it, I feel that same sense of calm. For that reason, it's really special to me and I'm so happy I can share it with you :)
