One of the hallmarks of the Jewish people is our ability to have constructive debate. Our goal is not to create a space where we all think alike, but rather to create a space that is strong enough to safely hold opposing views, multiple truths, and even identities in conflict. This is the idea behind our strong space poster. Using the talmudic value of "Eilu-V'Eilu" translated as “both these and those” (Eruvin 13b) we pray that this space be strong enough to hold the diversity of our identities, points of view, and individual experiences. This poster reminds us that your whole self (even with your contradictions) belongs.
