Product Manager, Platform

San Francisco, CA

Job Description

Teespring is revolutionizing e-commerce through our platform that empowers anyone to easily turn their ideas into life and offer them to the world. Creators use our platform to sell high-quality products people love, with just an idea and no cost or risk. Teespring powers all aspects of bringing merchandise to life from the e-commerce tools to printing it on-demand to delivering it to buyers.

Teespring has helped creators sell over 25 million products in more than 80 countries. We’re looking for a product manager to lead our platform where creators and buyers interact. As a product manager, you will own the experiences creators use everyday and ensure we continually improve it. This includes building the way creators design new merchandise, unique ways to display it to their buyers, and generating insights on their business. This role owns the primary touchpoint with our creators who are the lifeblood of Teespring.

What You'll Do

Product managers at Teespring are at the center of delivering great experiences for our users. You work with engineering, marketing, operations, & customer service to ensure we are building the best creator platform that our users love and will make them successful. You set the roadmap for how our platform should progress and prioritize changes as they happen. You inspire the team to follow the direction you set. As the organizational glue, you act to keep the company informed and make sure everyone is aligned.

What we’re looking for

First and foremost, we want people who believe in empowering creators to build businesses off their ideas. Caring about what we’re trying to accomplish is critical to ensuring we deliver great experiences for creators.

As a Product Manager for the Platform team, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has 2-5 years of product management experience
  • Demonstrates a track record of delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Loves analytics and tracking impact of their projects
  • Understands and speaks about technical things - not necessarily at the level of an engineer
  • Breaks down problems and quickly make an educated decision
  • Empowers those around them to be more successful
  • Focuses on getting work in the hands of users
  • Figures out how to get things done with scarce resources
  • Creates partnerships with team members across departments
  • Communicates crisply in all forms - from emails to meetings to all hands
