I'm bringing this design back cuz it's spring and festival season here in New Orleans and every time I wear it, people stop to tell me how much they love it!
I was originally inspired to make this design as a hat-tip to the brass band culture and music of New Orleans that continues to inspire me daily, with a slight nod to my DJ culture past. (For those who don't know, there's a very popular classic club hit called "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life.")
As I have done since I began selling this design, a portion of the proceeds will be donated by me to The Roots of Music program, an organization that "empowers the youth of New Orleans through music education, academic support, and mentorship, while preserving and promoting the unique musical and cultural heritage of our city."
