"Bring in the Nerds!" is a major theme of my book, Without Their Permission, which is a blueprint for how to reach your maximum potential for awesome online and offline using the internet. One of the ways to make our government suck less is going to mean getting more nerds in office.

I may have created the reddit alien, but I commissioned the far more talented Andy Romero to bring this concept to life. Andy (known by his internet alias "Blo0p") is an illustrator and designer from Miami. As a nerd himself, he was ecstatic to work on this project. He wanted to ensure a wide range of nerds were represented in the design, because every nerd has unique abilities to make the world, and the government, a little better.
