Last year, I won the Great American Cookbook Competition on Rachael Ray’s daytime television show. Along with nearly 1,000 others, I submitted a concept and crossed my fingers. After four rounds of competition on The Rachael Ray Show I was crowned the winner, and presented with the grand prize—a book deal with Rachael Ray Books, an Imprint of the Atria Publishing Group. My cookbook Orange, Lavender & Figs
is currently available for pre-order here
officially hits shelves March 1st, 2016!
I hope that these shirts, and my cookbook, inspire you to let your creativity run wild. Here’s the twist (and I don’t mean lemon). No one gets a shirt, unless 25 people click “Buy it now”. In addition to this foodie-inspired apparel being the spokesperson for my upcoming cookbook, it is also part of a much greater cause. Read on, here comes the best part.
For every shirt sold, I will be donating $1 to Rachael Ray’s Yum-o!®
, a nonprofit organization that empowers kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids and funding cooking education and scholarships. To contribute in your own way, head here
