After we’ve turned off our mics for the last time, we radio DJs, personalities, jocks, hosts (whatever they want to call us) will forever be remembered by our listeners and fans by the one thing we always heard when they saw us in person for the very first time.

Regardless of our formats or markets, that “surprised and slightly disappointed” reaction will follow us to the grave and beyond...and accompany all our radio shows that even now continue to hurtle through outer space. One day in the distant future, some alien being will hear your voice and say, “He doesn’t look...”
