The signatures on the back of this design were submitted in 2019 in commemoration of the citizens of The Kingdom of Hawaii, who campaigned to preserve the independence of the Hawaiian Kingdom through the submission of the Kū’ē Petition in 1897.

Many years have now passed, and although our Kupuna/ancestors were unsuccessful, we honor their efforts through this commemorative design. Proceeds from the sale of this design will be donated to support our Kupuna and protecting our sacred land. 50% of the proceeds will be donated towards The Kū'ē Petition Continues.
