Throughout my years as a leather femme, girl, little, and bootblack I have witnessed people make assumptions about their right to enter personal space, both mine and others. As a confident, I’ve listened to stories that included outright assault simply because of the way somebody appears or their identity in our community. Personally, I have had some assert their right to touch me or speak to me inappropriately while I was coloring in little space, servicing a bootblack stand, conversing at events, and while in a dominant’s collar. Consent is not a given. And so I will make it clear, please join me. Consent is a thing.
Proceeds from t-shirt sales go to my travel fund, helping me travel and teach about consent as part of my Service Littles class in our Age Play and Leather Communities.
