Over the years, I've developed a fondness of the symbolic lexicons cultures develop to try and communicate their thoughts and ideas. Hieroglyphs, runes, symbols of modern religion, even the iconography worshiped on the daily by ever person with a phone, computer, or video game console.
In particular, I became infatuated with the harmonic presence of symmetry in iconography. You can see it in the Christian Cross, the Wheel of Darm, Yin-and-Yang, and a vast amount of other religious, spiritual icons.
With than in mind, I wanted to create my own spiritual iconography. An exploration chaotic, abstract shapes brought in harmony by perfect connections; the creation of one shape out of many.
When I started creating these designs, I got a handful of messages about how I should do shirts or tattoos. A handful became a majority of inquiries.
I want to give people what they want, especially if what they want is what I want. Yet I don't have a tattoo license, and so here we are with my first shirt available on teespring.
