This design highlights a small Philadelphia staple: The Roxborough Tower Farm.

Going by many names such as Roxborough Radio Towers, The Towers and the Candelabra, the red lights are markers to help airplanes see the towers.

They are the sign to look for when returning from vacation and another small piece that makes Philadelphia 'Philadelphia'.

I tried to capture the exact number of lights and layout of the tower from our house in North Philadelphia. I spent many summer nights sitting on the stoop lost in conversation looking at Roxborough's "Red Stars".

I even added a design with all of the marker lights "off": Roxborough's Radio Towers - "Star Void"
