Sir Brodie was born in North Carolina. He is the son of a New Jersey mother, Catherine (Cat), a factory worker for Duracell Batteries, and Willard Brodie, a North Carolina father who worked as a mechanic at PPG Industries. He received an athletic scholarship to play collegiate football for NAIA school Guilford College. He graduated with a B.S. degree in accounting. After years of searching for his passion and gift, he moved to Atlanta to begin a new journey. This is where he found his love and passion for acting. It led to him being cast as a background performer on the hit USA show Necessary Roughness. He began training with Premier Actors Network, Dwayne Boyd. Here he developed his skills and landed several roles in community plays as well as indie films. Sir Brodie is an actor and producer, known for Survivor's Remorse, Blue Bloods, Sleepy Hollow, MacGyver, The Have and the Have Nots and The Quad.

<p>This campaign is for our great friend named James who is a brilliant author. James is sadly losing his eyesight. However, this has not diminished his love of the written word. He loves writing so much so, he has been going to school to learn Braille Transcription and is pretty close to graduating. </p><p><br>The next step in this process is him finding a job, and to have one he has to have an embosser. After a bit of research, we found that embossers are very expensive and with his disability he doesn't make enough to even consider getting one.<br><br>That is where you and I come in.<br><br>We want James to succeed, and want him to have the tools he need to achieve his dreams. By helping us get raise the funds for this embosser, we will change his life forever. <br><br>James is the most uplifting person I have ever met. No matter what his personal issues, he always has a positive word for others. This Embosser will give him the freedom to use his abilities with braille to give back to others. <br><br>Thank you, and anything helps</p>
