If you are like me, you have been to a lot of doctors in the search for help. Maybe for years. Maybe decades. And as my own mom so aptly pointed out something we all seem to forget: Not all smart people go to medical school.
Patients are living in an exciting time, with the tools now more than ever to become their own citizen scientists and delve deeply into contributing to their healthcare. I hope this simple phrase reminds you that you don't need a medical degree to bring something of substance to the table with your doctors.
