The largest railroad in the world in 1882, the Pennsylvania Railroad once had over 30,000 miles of track over a dozen states in the northeastern United States. One of the largest corporations in the world for most of its existence, the Pennsylvania Railroad had a history of innovation and technological mastery.
Unfortunately, we cannot ride the old railcars of the "Pennsy" anymore. While many rail lines were reclaimed by nature, the most valuable routes were sold off and given to the remaining freight and passenger railroads of today.
Remember the heyday of Western and Central Pennsylvania through buying the Pennsylvania Railroad red logo apparel and other items TODAY!
