Sparty was found at the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge on the same day of the UofM vs. MSU game in 2010. Since he was maize colored, we named him Sparty and said "No matter what team you root for, you can always be a fan of Our Sparty." Truly, everyone who met Sparty DID become his fan. Sparty was outgoing, talkative, extremely loving, and a very happy boy! He was our beloved Office Cat for 9 beautiful years, and spread smiles and knowledge to everyone he met! Sparty was diagnosed with Feline immunodeficiency virus (also known us FIV, the feline version of HIV) but Sparty didn't let his diagnosis slow him down. Sparty visited nursing homes, cuddled with scout groups, and greeted every single visitor at the door. He was beloved by many and was the hardest goodbye for many of his friends and volunteers. In 2019, we lost our dear Sparty at the age of 10 years old. He lived a beautiful, wonderful life full of toys, canned food, smiles, and a whole lot of love. Sparty was and forever will be in our hearts, and now his special friends can remember Sparty with this gorgeous portrait and the proceeds will go towards helping all the cats and kittens that currently reside at Pet Angel Adoption and Rescue!
Special thanks to Heather Love for turning Sparty into this beautiful watercolor masterpiece! We love it so much!
