I started making knives in early 2016, under the mentorship, of my good friend, Joel Green. He owns and operates Grit City Custom Knives, in the heart of the Hilltop neighborhood. His passion to create utilitarian fixed blades has certainly rubbed off on me. My design focuses heavily on some of the things I love about the PNW, like, Tahoma (Mount Rainier), the folklore surrounding Scookumchuck (Bigfoot), etc.
I owe my creativity, love of nature and the outdoors, and fondness of knives to my Grandfather, whom I always looked up to and admired. Like him, I hope to continue making my own forms of art until my hands no longer work. Thanks for following on the journey, and for all the support along the way!
