The Red Pony Stands®
Ojibwe Horse Sanctuary is a Métis/First Nations not-for-profit organization in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Red Pony Stands®
Preservation Project aims to protect, promote, and preserve the critically endangered Lac La Croix Indigenous Pony and their cultural significance for First Nations peoples of Canada. We act as an advocate for the breed in a variety of general public and academic settings. By raising awareness about this critically endangered breed of horse, we can work together to implement a sustainable conservation strategy to ensure the survival of the breed and its links to Indigenous cultures for generations to come!
