Named after the Durumi IDP camp in Abuja. Features the classic tribal masks common among the many refugees of the Hausa tribe.
One purchase of a shirt directly covers one child's entire tuition and school supplies for one year. There are hundreds of children who can't afford tuition, but every shirt equals one more child with access to education in Nigeria.
This project is an independent initiative by Gabriel Hansen, a recent high school graduate originally from Washington state who is living in Nigeria with the US Government, and plans on attending BYU-Idaho this fall semester. Gabe has personally visited the refugee camps and met with the children in need of education, as well as coordinated with the Project Envision Nigeria (PEN) foundation to distribute the funds raised.
